 众所周知，发明专利初审合格后，会进行进入实质审查阶段。那么这个时候，申请人需要提交实质审查请求书，并交纳实质审查费用，这个费用建议在初审合格之后，如果需要尽早授权，就尽快予以缴纳。
             

小编友情提醒下，不建议实质审查费与申请费同时缴纳，因为一旦缴纳，如果需要撤回，专利局是不会退款的。此外，如果缴纳了申请费和实质审查费，一旦因为初审不合格，及时在补正时候都无法克服缺陷时候，是不能被公开也不会进入实质审查阶段，发明专利实审费就算白缴纳了。

发明专利在3年时间内如果还未提出实质审查请求，不缴纳实审费，则会发出期限届满通知书。如果不予以处理，该发明专利会视撤。视撤后将会进入等待恢复，恢复费用更加是一笔较大的数字。
